FAQ's

How long do you perform for?

Anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours! It will all depend on your  requirements. I may need to move locations to keep on bubbling if the ground becomes hazardous.

Can you perform indoors?

Yes! Bubbles can be created indoors as long as the space is suitable - a large enough area and the floor is not a slippery surface. The immediate bubbling area (where they are created) is protected with tubs and floor covering. Generally, indoor bubbles are created using smaller wands than outdoor performances. (except for 'in a bubble). A risk assessment will be completed prior to an event.

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes! Bubbles are ideal for use in outdoor settings. Grassed areas are ideal though they can still be used on concrete / other rough / hard ground areas as long as it is not a slippery surface. I am not able to perform bubbles on smooth polished paving slabs as they are too much of a safety risk. I do not perform bubbles near roads, driving traffic or bodies of water. At a festival / event, I also do not bubble near food / catering /craft outlets and other performers. The immediate bubbling area (where they are created) is protected with tubs, floor covering and I have a display of warning cones / signs. If I am roaming, I will be sure to keep away from the above mentioned though cannot guarantee there won't be rogue bubbles floating! A risk assessment will be completed prior to an event.

What if the weather forecast is for rain etc?

The bubbles I create can withstand most weather and even tend to last for longer when the weather is quite humid. Even in a light drizzle, the bubbles can still float far and wide. If the weather forecast is more torrential, and an indoor setting is available for use, the bubbles can be created inside.

Can I leave my children with you?

No, I only perform with the bubbles. I do not provide child care of any kind - children and vulnerable adults must be supervised by a responsible adult. 

Can I take photos?

Photos are welcomed though please be mindful of any other attendees who many not wish to be photographed / recorded. Specifically, please try not to get other children in photographs or recordings unless you have permission. 

If you do take any photos or videos please be sure to tag them on my social media pages (the links are available on the Site and / or Blog). liking and share my pages is also much appreciated.

By uploading and sharing photos or videos, you agree that "Amy's Amazing Bubbles" may use your photos and / or videos for any promotion, advertising and / or marketing.

How far will you travel?

Travel within Leicestershire is covered within the performance fee. Travel outside of Leicestershire will incur a travel allowance and anything over 1.5 hours travel will require accommodation to be covered / organised also. Parking for one vehicle must be made available at the venue or as close as possible for the duration of time spent at a location. Any charges for parking will need to be covered.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, public liability insurance, an up to date basic DBS check and also registered with the ICO (data protection).

How long will it take it set up / pack away?

Typically it takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to set up / pack away. This time will also depend on venue and event policies (signing in etc).
